What You Bring to EP Minerals
The ideal candidate will possess BS in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field and five years or more experience of direct field sales experience with raw materials and/or process-based industries.
Other requirements include:
- BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is strongly recommended or equivalent experience; an MBA is a plus
- 5+ yrs. experience technical field sales in manufacturing and / or chemical process industries (filtration experience desirable)
- Previous experience developing and leading sales and technical service teams
- Consistent record of superior sales results and experience closing sales
- Discover technical trends in various markets, used to help customers optimize and improve their processes
- Strong aptitude for cold-calling, developing relationships, and growing a territory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, etc.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Must be willing to develop new business – not just maintain current accounts
- Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned region
- Strong analytical capabilities
- The ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Since part of the responsibilities include covering China and Taiwan, fluency in Mandarin is required
